As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with the Landscape Architect and Project Managers, contributing to various crucial aspects of the design process, such as conceptual designs, plan set creation, materials selections, and permit acquisition. Required & Preferred Experience:
Studio Terrain is actively seeking a Landscape Designer to join our team. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following required and preferred experience criteria:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the Landscape Architecture industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking direction from supervisors while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient hand drafting and hand rendering skills.
- Capability to interpret and understand existing plan sets.
- Preferred knowledge of native and ornamental planting specific to the Pacific Northwest region.
- Expert-level proficiency in using AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Land F/X, and Sketchup.
- Microsoft Office experience is advantageous.
- A strong passion for creating distinctive, aesthetically pleasing spaces tailored to luxury level clientele.
- The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually.
- A genuine passion for learning and continual growth within the landscape architecture industry.
- An expressed interest in pursuing a Washington State Landscape Architecture license would be advantageous.
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with digital 3D rendering software is a plus.
- Proficiency in on-site measuring and base map creation is also a plus.
